JSO finds body inside a vehicle

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit is investigating a scene where a man's body was found inside a truck on Evergreen Avenue on Saturday morning.

Police were tipped off about a suspicious vehicle on a dirt road by a trucker in a lot near 5700 Evergreen Avenue about 9 a.m.

Investigators at the scene say they found a man's body, that appeared to show signs of trauma, inside the truck.

They say they are not sure what caused the trauma and will have to wait for the medical examiner to perform an autopsy before they determine the cause of death.
