JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The 2013 NFL schedule is now out. The Jacksonville Jaguars will open the season against the Kansas City Chiefs at EverBank Field on Sept. 8.
The Chiefs will pick first in the NFL draft next week, after finishing tied with the Jaguars for the worst record in 2012. The Jaguars will have the second pick in the draft.
The Jaguars will play one prime-time game at home on a Thursday, Dec. 5th against the Houston Texans.
Of course, the Jaguars will play in London on Oct. 27, meaning the team only has seven home games this season.
Because of the game in London, the Jaguars will have their bye week the following week, on Nov. 3.
The Jaguars will travel the most miles in franchise history this year: This includes a back-to-back trip out west to play Oakland and Seattle in September. The Jaguars will stay out west for the entire week to cut down on jet lag.
