JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jaguars are looking for a new head coach after firing Mike Mularkey.

The Jaguars have not revealed anything as to potential new hires.

Here's a list of coaching candidates we've put together based on GM David Caldwell's connections in the NFL:

  • Greg Roman, the 49ers offensive coordinator
  • Brian Schottenheimer, the Rams offensive coordinator
  • Mike Nolan, the Falcons defensive coordinator
  • Josh McDaniels, the Patriots offensive coordinator
  • Dirk Koetter, the Falcons offensive coordinator
  • Lovie Smith, former head coach of the Chicago Bears
  • Mike McCoy, the Broncos offensive coordinator
The Jaguars will introduce Caldwell as their new GM at 4 p.m. We will carry it live on Action News on CBS47 and FOX30 at 4 p.m., and on ActionNewsJax.com.

Watch Action News at 5 p.m. for live team coverage of the Jaguars new era.

Any one but dirk koeter the old offecive cordinator here under del rio . He cannot draft and develop QBs . This is why a head coaching job would not be in his future .

The Jaguars need to get Chris Rainey, seeing as Pittsburg let him go for another arrest, he would fit in real good with the bums we have now. I hope when they go to England the Brits will have fun trying to play football. Do the even play it over there. They have Polo and socker. Maybe they will kick it down the feild like a socker ball. That would be a barrel of laughs.

I am not a sports fan and hatr it when all you here are the Jaguar on the news. I am sorry that Coach mularkey was fired, he never had a chance to prove out. If I wasa the owner I would get rid of all the dead wood on the team and start with all new players. The staff did not let you down the players did. As for Tebow what is the big deal with him? I would grab the kid that broke all the school records at the high school. He seems to be a better player then Tebow. You haad a young fellow from PA. two years ago that was as good as Tebow if not better, then DelReo let him go. Big mistake. Unless you get a better team you will be just as bad this coming season as you were this past season.
