SANFORD, Fla. (AP) - A Seminole County Judge has set a bond for George Zimmerman at $9,000 in domestic assault case.

Zimmerman, who was acquitted of criminal charges in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, now faces a felony charge of aggravated assault following his arrest at the home where he lives with his girlfriend in Apopka.

Zimmerman's girlfriend told authorities he broke a table and pointed a long-barreled shotgun at her during a verbal dispute at her home on Topfield Court.

"I'm doing this again? You just broke my glass table, you just broke my sunglasses, and you put your gun in my friggin' face and told me to get the f--- out, this is not your house," Samantha Scheibe can be heard saying on a 911 call.

Scheibe claims she told Zimmerman to leave the home she rents, and that he's been living in since August.

On top of the felony assault charge, Zimmerman also faces battery and criminal mischief charges, according Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Scheibe is the same woman who was with Zimmerman in September when Shellie Zimmerman called 911 claiming George Zimmerman attacked her.

Scheibe can be heard being forced out of her own home during the 911 call.

"Are you f------ kidding me? He just pushed me out of my house and locked me out," Scheibe said in the 911 call.

Deputies said Zimmerman barricaded himself in the house with furniture at the front door.

While he was barricaded, Zimmerman called 911 too, even though deputies were already outside.

"I just want everyone to know the truth," Zimmerman said in the call.

During a news conference Monday, Lemma wouldn't say what sparked the argument at the home, but confirmed no one was injured.

When deputies arrived, Zimmerman appeared to have barricaded himself in the home after pushing the woman outside, officials said.

However, officials said Zimmerman removed the barricade and showed no aggression toward deputies during their investigation.

He's being held in the Seminole County Jail.

If granted bond, the Sheriff's Office said it will request Zimmerman be placed on electronic monitoring, something they request in all domestic violence incidents.

Authorities obtained a search warrant and recovered a gun case.

Neighbors of Zimmerman's girlfriend said they had no idea it was Zimmerman who had been visiting the home more frequently.

"Just when you thought you heard the last of George Zimmerman," said neighbor Catherine Cantrell.

Cantrell told Channel 9 she thought Zimmerman was a police officer based on the way he carried himself.

"First time I saw her get out of the car with him, I thought she was dating a cop. I thought he was actually a cop, like an undercover cop. Very quiet, walked in and out," said neighbor Catherine Cantrell.

Cantrell said the woman who lived in the home was very sweet and quiet. She also said she did not hear the disturbance coming from the home Monday.

The 30-year-old former neighborhood watch volunteer has had several brushes with the law since he was acquitted in July of all charges in the fatal shooting of Martin.

Zimmerman and his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman, were involved in a domestic dispute in September shortly after Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce.

Shellie Zimmerman accused her husband of punching her father and threatening them at the father's home on Ridgewood Road.

Police said no charges were filed against either party because of a lack of evidence.

George Zimmerman was also accused by his wife's mother of stealing property from her Lake Mary home, where he had been staying.

Police are reviewing the case to determine if it will be a civil or criminal matter.

Zimmerman has also been pulled over three times for traffic stops since his acquittal.

He was ticketed for doing 60 mph in a 45 mph zone in Lake Mary in September and was given a warning by a state trooper along Interstate 95 for having a tag cover and windows that were too darkly tinted.

He was also stopped near Dallas in July and was given a warning for speeding.

In 2005, Zimmerman had to take anger management courses after he was accused of attacking an undercover officer who was trying to arrest Zimmerman's friend.

Later that year, Zimmerman's former fiancée filed for a restraining order against him, alleging domestic violence.

Zimmerman responded by requesting a restraining order against her. Both requests were granted. No criminal charges were filed.

The thug was pounding Zimmermans head on the are just still mad, Zimmerman didn't die instead. He might have a short fuse and be a hot head, but just like you, he had a right to defend himself from serious or fatal harm. Get over it all you thug lovers out there.

From the very beginning of all of this …Zimmerman had, and still has a short fuse! Scapegoat!?!?!? Hardly!!!! Nothing more than a vigilante!!! Martin may have been less than an angel…granted…but he did not deserve to die, for being in the wrong place at the wrong time…even if he was a thug wannabe…no one 'deserves' to die at the hand of a 'cop wannabe'...

No he can't, now can he? Zimmerman was made the scapegoat for 'O BAMA's SON' to infringe and attack our rights to bear arms against thugs like Trayvon and ZIMMERMAN IS STILL BEING USED AS A SCAPEGOAT...I would be crazy as h3ll right now too if the media CONTINUES TO BRAND ME AS A MURDERER WHEN A JURY OF MY PEERS FOUND ME NOT GUILTY. And 'I' will get a grip when you haters gets your nose out of my 2nd Amendment. I'm sure realchange feels the same way. YoOU might condone THUGDOM (the way they live in N Africa)..but it isn't going to survive here. Thugs and con artists are admired by only 'low life's', and if you idiots think you are going to continue to con hardworking Americans into feeling sorry for your 'imaginary reprssion' and giving up their weapons because of your lies about thugs like Trayvon..think again.

Can't do it native jax, he can't even go get his own stuff. he has to appoint a 3rd party. realchange, the only resemblance to anything political in nature about this story is your rant. Just can't accept that maybe, just maybe, this guy is a nut job and that all of you were wrong about him. Your deflection from his actions in your rant confirms you just can't deal with the facts. This is NOT Obama's fault. But nice try. Obama has never tried to take your guns, but you scaredy cats sure have made a lot of money for the gun industry in your fears. Trayvon Martin did not have a criminal history at all much less a violent one. There was NEVER a home invasion, the jewelry was investigated and found to be not stolen. IF things were really that bad you wouldn't have to make this stuff up. This arrest for Zimmerman is the 6th incident he's been connected to involving violence, 5 arrests including 1 for murder yet you still ignorantly claim it was the kid who RAN that was the violent one looking for trouble the night of Feb. 28, 2012. Really Dude, get a grip.

Feel that this political in nature. Keep in mind after you get charged with something you didn't do it creates a lot anger. He can't do much in life at present because literally there is certain black racist people looking to kill him for daring to touch one their own "precious" thugs. The President is backing Trayvon Martin as would be son just like him. Apparently the President feels stealing jewelry in home invasion, beating the hell out snitches, smoking pot and drinking purple lean is just a minor phase. So pressure is on to convict Zimmerman or make him guilty of something anything. Sort of like convicting a pastor protesting 9/11 of felony transportation of kerosene. Same President told you could keep your health insurance lied about it, as well as things like not after your guns among other things. He promised more transparency in government then goes tooth and nail after whistle blower that lets the nation know they are being watched full time without warrants. It also seem the News has death wish for Zimmerman posting his vehicle during traffic stops. Showing what he looks like now to try to evade peole who might try kill him etc. Meanwhile Corey who knew about Travyon Martin equally violent and criminal history and concealed is considered a "good" person when she should be brought up on ethics charges herself and disbarred from Fla law.
