JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police say a lunch box caused a pair of roads to be shut down Wednesday by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office bomb squad unit.

Baymeadows Road was closed around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Southside Boulevard and the Deerwood Village Shopping Center. Police tell Action News a bus driver spotted a lunch box and believed it to be suspicious. Crews checked the item and the bus on the side of the roadway. The lunch box was deemed safe and roads were reopened around 7:30 p.m.
