LAKE CITY, Fla. -- One man has been arrested and another has been identified in the shooting of a Lake City store clerk.

Saturday, authorities located James Leonard Johnson in Jacksonville and took him into custody. A second suspect, Ernest Larry Grandison is now wanted for his role in the murder of Rajni Patel.

On April 27, Patel, 55, was shot and killed during the robbery of the A&M Discount Beverage store in Lake City. Police say the gunmen also fired at Patel's but she was not hurt.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to Grandison's arrest.

If you know anything that can help Police, call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS. You will remain anonymous and could receive an additional cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.

I am very happy they have one of the men that did this crime....but I also wonder where are those idiot black panther people at now hmmmm? As always it's fine with them when one of their own kills someone now isn't it? Somethin needs to be done to stop those people because they are just tryin to wage a race war all over again instead of living together peacefully!!

If you murder someone for money and it's open and shut case should be life in prsion without parole or death penalty. There are several such crimes committed in the late 80's and some those creeps who murdered store clerks are up every few years now for parole. Intresting enough there is mandatory sentencing for emergency workers but shouldnt that same law apply to every citizen? Why is it ok to send message some people are more ok to kill in crime than others?
