Man found seriously injured alongside roadway

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for answers after a man was found badly injured on the side of the road. Police say the man was found lying alongside Boney Road on Jacksonville's Northside. Nearby, officers found his A-T-V damaged.

Police say they are unsure of whether the man fell from the ATV or was attacked.

The man was taken to UF and Shands Jacksonville in serious condition.

His name has not yet been released.
