JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Suns will be remembering a local legend tonight. Suns owner Peter Bragan, Sr. passed away Saturday, but his memory will live on.

"It was a wonderful thing to be able to have my father as long as I did, and spend as much time with him as I was able to. It's been a wonderful run," said Bragan's son, Peter Bragan, Jr.

The gates to the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville will open at 5 p.m. There will be a public viewing from 5-7 p.m., and visitors are invited to come ring the bell Bragan made famous for ringing after home runs and winning games.

The ceremony will begin at 7:05 p.m., just like the Suns night games do.
