@Papakilo Protecting yourself from unarmed teens and shooting them is not a RIGHT!!!! You are absolutely disgusting to even think that. You state:" Too many teens have little to no respect for authority, elders, adults, and do not assume responsibility for their actions. I believe the parents need to be placed on trial for not bringing up their children with respect for elders." You are about as dumb as it comes. Your parents should be put on trial for your stupid and insensitive comment. Loud music is VERY irritating, but not a CRIME, however shooting and killing a person because of loud music is murder!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think you know the definition of murder or you would have phrased your comment to reflect that. I want to see how Florida is going to handle this one since he is now claiming self defense. I guess because he called the teens names and shouted to turn their music down or off and they shouted back he feels that in self defense of the verbal altercation he needed to go get a gun an shoot up a car full of teens that were unarmed he is justified we clearly have another Sanford FL situation on our hands.

@papakilo i dont care how loud my teen blasts his music or how much he curses...last time i checked neither of those r capital crimes punishable by death! Its just that sort of elitist attitude that is wrong w/ society! "Respect meb& do what i say b/c i am above u!" PLEASE! I know so many more "grown" ppl that r disrespectful & rude!!

Where in the nation can he get fair trial ? They already blasted the teen pic on every black article they can find. Showing him as innocent and murdered by an "evil" white man. Meanwhile when black on black shootings occurr there never is any outrage or mass anger over it. Hell might even be 15 witnesses but they all forget what happened suddenly.

Why do we keep blaming society for the misdeeds and rudeness of teens at home, at school and on the streets? No matter who threatens another person, the individual being threatened has the right to protect him/herself. And not wait for the threat to be carried out. Too many teens have little to no respect for authority, elders, adults, and do not assume responsibility for their actions. I believe the parents need to be placed on trial for not bringing up their children with respect for elders. Too many express their dislike for authority by blasting radios and cursing adults when asked to be responsible. Teens which allow their mouth to over-load their butt, are looking to start trouble. Bottom line...as long as society permits adults and society in general to be blamed for the outcome, teens will continue to show more disrespect and lack of responsibility. TAKE THEIR PARENTS TO TASK, for the actions of, or caused by their children.

This trial needs a change of venue. The media and the black community have convicted this person without the benefit of a trial. They defendent can not get a fair trial in this community. I do not think that he is innocent but our laws give the accused the right to a trial, free of bias by jurors.
