ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --
Mitt Romney's plane has landed at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport in St. Augustine. It's the GOP presidential candidate's first stop in a day-long swing through Florida.
Romney is scheduled to speak at Flagler College during a campaign stop. He will address supporters on the West Lawn of the campus.
Today's campaign stop is part of a two-pronged approach for the Romney campaign. While the presumptive Republican nominee for president will swing through Florida, Romney's newly-named vice-presidential running mate,
Paul Ryan, will be campaigning in Iowa.
President Obama is also expected to make campaign stops in Iowa today.
Mitt Romney's campaign event is expected to begin shortly after 8:30 a.m. in St. Augustine. Then it's on to Miami for more campaigning in the Sunshine State.
