According to new data from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, cameras at that intersection have snapped more than 660 drivers running the red light since March.

The total number of red light violations issued is over 2,800, from photos taken from the 18 cameras set up across town.

The second intersection with the most violations is Beach Boulevard at University Boulevard, with more than 450 tickets issued.

Nice pile of change building up. Especially for doing nothing. These red light cameras are bogus. The city gets half the money from the ticket, the company that owns the cameras gets the other half. Think about that if you think this has anything to do with keeping people from running red lights.

Red light cameras will allow the officers to stay at the police station and get drunk, crash their vehicles and get arrested and charged with dui and allowed to keep their jobs!!!!!!!!!!!
