Murdered woman's daughter arrested in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- The daughter of a Barbara Parchem was arrested by St. Johns County Deputies Friday and charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

Deputies say they found 2 guns at the residence of Lilly Ann Chavez during a continued investigation of her mother's death.

Human remains found Tuesday in northern Flagler County where confirmed by the medical exaimer to be those of Chavez's missing 67-year-old mother.

State records show that Chavez was arrested in 2008 for dealing with stolen property, attempting fraud, and selling narcotics.

Chavez remains in St. Johns County Jail with a $400,000 bond and is charged with 2 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Investigtoars have yet to name a suspect in the murder of Parchem and continue their investigation.

If you knew the family you'd know there's nothing to inherit. You also wouldn't go around posting ignorant comments with no respect to the people involved.

hmmm,, this would definitely make the daughter " person of interest " !!! how much ya wanna bet she offed the old lady cause she couldn't wait to inherit !!!
