New information released in search for missing 67-year-old woman
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Detectives are still looking for 67-year-old Barbara Parchem one week after she disappeared. Now new details are being released in an effort to generate leads.
Parchem is described as 5’ 3 and weighs around 100 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Throughout the week, law enforcement officers have conducted searches by ground, air, and off road vehicles.
She was last seen last Friday wearing dark pants, a gray “hoodie,” and a dark colored shirt.
The SJCSO reports that foul play is not suspected. However, Deputies tell Action News concern remains from Parchem’s well-being based on previous statements made to family members.
If you have seen her, please call 911 or the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 904-824-8304.
Detectives believe Parchem's vehicle may have been used on the day she was last seen and was possibly used the next day. Witnesses told investigators that they saw Parchem's vehicle Friday afternoon in the area of CR 214 and CR 13 South (near Molasses Junction). The 2005, red Nissan Pathfinder, has a heart in shoe polish on the rear passenger driver's side window.
Friend's of Parchem are offering a $500 reward to anyone who has information leading to her whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jeremy Russell at (904)209-2193 or Crime Stoppers at (888)-277-8477.
