One dead after motorcycle slams into pedestrian on the Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- Police are investigating a fatal crash on the Westside.

FHP tells Action News a motorcyclist was heading east on 103rd when they hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian later died. We are still waiting on that person's identity. The motorcycle driver and a passenger were taken to Orange Park Medical. No word yet on their injuries.

FHP says charges are pending, but it does not appear drugs, alcohol or speeding played a role in this crash.
