NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. -- In spite of being denied a permit initially, the annual Thanksgiving block party at Pete's Bar is continuing on today.

Owner Nancy Jensen was told by a rep at the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco that she could not get the permit because her party was not legal.

After Action News called AB&T to find out why, Nancy received a phone call and was told they would work something out.

The party is a go and people were already showing up to drop off cars at 5:30 a.m. and getting to Pete's early to go live with Action News This Morning by 6.

The official party is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 1st Street in front of Pete's Bar in Neptune Beach.
