LAKE CITY, Fla. -- A pharmacy technician from Lake City was arrested after admitting to stealing prescription pills, according to police.

Tiffany Lasha Dandy, 22, worked at the CVS Pharmacy on SW Baya Drive. According to the report, an internal investigation led her employers to believe she was stealing hydrocodone pills. She revealed the theft began back in May of 2012 in an interview. Over the course of the scheme, more than 10,500 pills were taken. Dandy says she sold the pills to a friend. She was arrested with more than $1,100 in her pockets.

Dandy was booked into the Columbia County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.
