I wouldn"t say the zoo was at "fault" per say no. This mother lifted up her child to get a "better look" as all of us mothers have before. But Me myself, I never trust any structure. If I have to lift one of my children just so they can "get a better look" then I hold them, on my hip, in my arms or even on my shoulders. I would never lift my child over a railing especially of a potentially dangerous animal. The mother was obviously not thinking correctly and should not be a fauly for "killing" her child, no. But neither should the zoo. It was a horrible accident. Could it have been prevented probably, probably even on both ends. But I do not believe either party should be "at fault".... Thats just MY opinion in this matter though.. Prayers for the family and I sincerely hope things work out for everyone effected by this tragic event.

I agree, it was the Mothers fault and he was in her care and even literally in her hands. You cannot go around suing because YOU screwed up! It's sad ending but ....she will have to carry this one herself!
