JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police arrested a suspect in a stabbing on the Southside over the weekend.

Police say Tyehimba Fort, 32, is accused of stabbing 26-year-old Joseph Primo early Sunday morning.

The stabbing happened at the Avesta Baymeadows apartment complex.

Police say Fort and Primo had an argument over a pit bull and that the suspect eventually left the scene in a taxi.

The suspect was arrested after the taxi was pulled over by police a short time later.
