JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- President Barack Obama won a second term in the White House, defeating Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

By 11:30 p.m. on Election Night, CBS News, Fox News and CNN all projected victory for the President.  At 11:41 p.m., the Associated Press issued a newsflash also predicting President Obama's victory.

In his victory address, President Obama spoke to a crowd of supporters in Chicago.  He took the stage flanked by the First Lady and their daughters.

"Tonight, in this election, you, the American people, reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that the best is yet to come," the president said.

Romney conceded the race in a speech to supporters in Boston.

"This is a time of great challenges for America," Romney said. "I pray the president will be successful in guiding our nation."

Romney thanked his family, and running mate Paul Ryan in his speech.  Ryan won re-election to the House of Representatives in Wisconsin.

Romney asked the crowd to extend their support to President Obama.

"At a time like this, we can't risk partisan bickering and political posturing," Romney said.

AND Now THANKS TO YOU IDIOTS... the people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff are being mean, prejudiced, and racist. So... the people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place. We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff. Now understand this. All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them. The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 236 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff. We HAD one chance to change that and didn't... This is the end of the United States as we know it.

Yea, Ha HA ..the 'joke' will be on the one's who voted for him. The following meant NOTHING to you people, as long as you moochers keep getting your FREE government shiot. Since President Obama took office, here's what has happened to our country: 41 months of unemployment greater than 8 percent. 23 million Americans struggling to find work. 1 in 6 Americans in poverty. 1 in 4 children on food stamps. Our national debt has grown by over $5.2 trillion to $16 trillion. We have had 4 consecutive years of deficits exceeding $1 trillion. Gas prices have increased an average of $1.65 a gallon, at a time when real wages are stagnant. On President Obama's watch, 5.7 million residential mortgages are either 30 days delinquent or in foreclosure. President Obama has put us at a disadvantage versus China. In the last year alone, China has increased its manufacturing base by 18 percent and grown its economy by $2 trillion. What is wrong with this picture? Everything. And the next 4 years will be ONE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT to you lazy bums when OBama realizes he won't be able to give you bums as much as he has already. AND when that happens, we will be ready for your threats of riots, looting, robbing, etc. Now you idiots better HOPE AND PRAY he does what he promised the first 4 years..because there are NOT TOO MANY TRUE AMERICANS who are going to share their their meager supper table with bums anymore, black, white or brown. And even your annoited one didn't guarantee your foods stamps will last forever. idiots

It is a relief that this election is over. The people have spoken and President Obama can focus on the issues that plague our country. My prayer is the ones in congress get over their personal needs and do the job of the people. It has been obvious that Mr. Obama is dislike as no other president. That said, obstructionism of the ones voted to represent us would serve us much better when they stop being puppets to the likes of Norquist and Rove. These ones also need to work vice begin the campaigning for the mid terms in 2014. Enough of that~get to the business of the people regardless of your personal gain.
