One more thing, of all the stories and comments I have read over time this one was just the last straw. I had to sign up just so I could comment on this one - Absolutely RIDICULOUS!

I have never in all my born days EVER heard of anyone associating the term "redneck" with being black or any other type of racial slur. I grew up here and whenever the term "redneck" was used the person was referring to someone that was "country" or "bubba" but NEVER racial, and the redneck never took offense. GET OVER IT MISS LAZY. I hope everyone supports Jill Johnson (the professional).

the term redneck derives from the miners strike ina southern county of west virginia way back when... the strikers in support of their brother miners marched from all over west virginia to converge upon this company owned county... to identify themselves as brothers in unity they all wore red kerchifs around their necks,,hence redneck),, and the term came into being.. it is not associated with being racially insensitive,, yet with a black mayor,, a disgruntled employee & the start of black history month,, what do you expect??? according to the unsaid portion from co workers,, it would seem if the shoe fits,, miss lazy & uncooperative should stick it where the sun doesn't shine !!! ooops,, i said shine !!!!

This is ridiculous! Gunny48, you are absolutely correct. I, too, am fed up with the double standard, as are many other people.

This is pure "politically correct" garbage & why people get fed up with the double standards that are impossible to ignore - if she wasn't white and called her husband an "uncle tom", etc. no one would dare say a thing!
