Red-light violations begin at four new locations in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--Red-light violators will now be ticketed at four new locations in Jacksonville. 

The violations began at midnight Friday. 

The intersections are Blanding Boulevard at Argyle Forest Boulevard; Blanding Boulevard at Collins Road northbound and southbound; and Blanding Boulevard and Youngerman Circle northbound.

Instead of a warning, if caught, drivers will get a $158 fine.

If you don't like the camera's don't do any business near them. Let the businesses know your moving to locations where these money makers don't exist yet. Let the Sheriff know your going to replace him and anyone that he endorses out there. Let the Mayor know if you continue to allow these 158 dollar road tolls up they going replace him. Study did show awhile back that rear end collisions will increase at red light cameras as people follow each other to close in city traffic to stop suddenly at yellow lights. I hate the jerk that has ran the red light 30 seconds after it changed but this is not about that. This is about making money for the police departments in Fla and the government authorities. Avoid doing business at locations with them and LET THE BUISNESS know your going lose business because of these lights sorry.

Good......Don't run a red light. If its yellow, STOP. This way your hurry to get where you are going won't kill anyone.
