Report: Aaron Hernandez under investigation for double killing in 2012

BOSTON, Mass. -- CBS Sports and MyFoxBoston are reporting former Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez is being investigated in connection with a double murder in Boston last year.

Police found three people shot in a car at a traffic light in Boston on July 16, 2012. Two of the people were dead. The third victim survived.

CBS Sports also cited a theory from the Boston Globe that Odin Lloyd may have had information about Hernandez' role in the unsolved killing.

Hernandez is now facing first-degree murder charges for the death of Lloyd.

The New England Patriots drafted Hernandez in the fourth round in 2010 out of Florida where he earned All-American honors and won a BCS National Championship.  He also went to the Pro Bowl in his second year with the Patriots who dropped him from the team after his arrest this week.

This kid is starting to look like a really hard core thug, who thought he was above the law. If he is convicted I hope he enjoys assuming the position he played on the football field in middle of a hard core prison. Then with a history of all the off field problems he has had, I also a little surprised that Gene Smith and the Jaguars did draft him.
