Restaurant Report Visits Angie's Subs (Beach Blvd.), Oasis and Aunt Kate's

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- With 15 violations, Angie's Subs at 1436 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville Beach tops the restaurant report this week.

State inspectors found three high priority violations:

Food Not Held at 135 Degrees - Meatballs at 115 Degrees
Food Cooled Not Quick Enough - Pork Held at 44 Degrees
Wiping Cloth Sanitizer Solution Exceeds Maximum Concentration Allowed

The owner of Angie's Subs, Ed Malin, tells Action News "I make a major effort to comply with everything that a health inspector finds."

Malin also pointed out, "There are very little infractions."

Oasis Restaurant at 4000 A1A South in Saint Augustine had 11 total violations.

Aunt Kate's at 612 Euclid Avenue in Saint Augustine also had 11 violations.

The Subway at 2261 West Edgewood Avenue is this week's only winner of the Clean Plate Award, congratulations for no violations.
