Rev. Jesse Jackson joins protesters in Tallahassee
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Dream Defenders will be staying overnight at the state Capitol again.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson will join them.
The group wants Gov. Rick Scott to hold a special session to reconsider the controversial Stand Your Ground law, which was in the spotlight during the George Zimmerman trial.
The protests began in mid-July.
The FDLE released new figures Tuesday showing the estimated costs for security and overtime have reached $212,337, with $84,674 of that in overtime, in the past two weeks.
