JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- After weeks of consideration, the Duval County School Board is preparing to name the next Duval County Superintendent.

The three remaining candidates come from a variety of backgrounds across the Southeast. Kriner Cash is the Superintendent of Schools in Memphis, Nikolai Vitti is the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum in Miami, and Dale Robbins is the Associate Superintendent of Clayton County Schools in Georgia.

All three will be in Jacksonville this week for a series of meetings that start Monday morning at the Schultz Center at 9 a.m.

They will meet with board members, internal and external stakeholders, and newly elected school board members who will serve under the next Superintendent.

On Tuesday, the public will have the opportunity to listen in on what will likely be the final interviews, as a decision is expected Tuesday afternoon.
