JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Duval County school bus carrying 41 students collided with a vehicle Tuesday morning in the Arlington area.
Fire officials said there were no serious injuries but four people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to state Department of Education records sent to us from the school district, the driver, whose name was not released, has two prior citations, one in 2003 for an improper turn and one in 1989 for speeding. No other details were provided.

Student Transportation of America issued this statement:
"We are thankful that there were no serious injuries to the students and bus driver involved in this morning’s accident in Jacksonville. We are cooperating fully with the Jacksonville Police Department’s investigation. Safety is our first and most important priority. We remind all motorists that school now is back in session and to always be extra vigilant around school buses."
