JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The owner of the San Jose SaberCats arena football team has been arrested after police say he attacked the owner of the Jacksonville Sharks after a game.

The attack happened Saturday after the Sharks lost to the SaberCats. JSO says the owner of the SaberCats, Cedric Walker, confronted two cheerleaders about being on the field during the game. Police say Laura Bouchy, the Sharks' co-owner intervened and that's when an argument broke out. The owner of the Sharks, Ronald Johnson stepped in to protect the women, and that's when investigators say Walker attacked Johnson.

Witnesses say Walker slammed Johnson's head into a wall twice, screamed obscenities at him and punched him in the face.

Johnson was treated for a bloody nose and other minor injuries. Police say Walker admitted to the attack and told them he became upset after Johnson called him "a boy" twice during the argument.
Walker is charged with battery, Johnson is not facing charges.
