JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for the person they believe opened fire at a local fast-food restaurant.

According to Sgt. Jeffrey Lentz, the passenger of an unknown vehicle shot at the vehicle ahead of them in line at the Chick-fil-A drive-thru located near the corner of JTB and Phillips Highway.

Police say they believe someone cut in line while waiting to order. That's when, they say, an unknown number of shots were fired at the front vehicle.

No one was injured and police don't believe the vehicle shot at was struck.

The suspect fled the area and didn't stick around to order any food.

JSO is investigating the incident as road rage.

Chick-fil-A remains open for business as usual.

Call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS if you have any information. You will remain anonymous and you could receive a cash reward of up to $3,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.

I hear you, man, I can't even drive down 13 to work (something I do everyday) without worrying that the guy weaving through traffic might fire shots at me or try to run me off the road if I go too slow.

I tell my wife and kids that the people of this country are getting dumber by the day. Amazingly something happens everyday to prove me right.
