ORANGE PARK, Fla.-- Somer Thompson's home was burglarized.
Diena Thompson has reminders of her daughter Somer all over her home. It has been a tough three years since Somer's murder.
Now it's even tougher. Someone broke into Diena's home and ruffled through her stuff. The report says the person stole $15,000 worth of jewelry and electronics.
Action News spoke to Diena and she says some of that jewelry was given to her after Somer's murder. It had a special meaning for her. Now she's just hoping police can solve the case for her family so they can once again get back those precious mementos.
Police say they are making progress in the case, but no arrests have been made.
Among the items taken include:
- A Samsung laptop
- An Apple iPod
- An Apple iPad
- Apple iPhone charger

The detective found no signs of forced entry at the home.
