@imtellin - "its safe to assume everyone out at that time has had a few cocktails". That is a stupid statement. Why is is "safe to assume" that? Should we then shut down the roads at 2am? Everything doesn't run on 9-5 and lots of people have very valid reasons to be on the road at that time and sober at that. More wrecks occur during business hours than afterward.

Should be pretty easy to catch the mazda most people can't afford to have two cars and if it did drive after hitting a pole then you know they will be driving it around town to work or school and then I hope they get a good sentence. Probably some punk kid who hit the pole bad mistake to leave buddy. You gotta come out sometime! As for the box truck you def need to be found and I hope we do because you actually killed him!

Anyone who would commit such a vile crime should go to jail for a very long time, in fact I would support a life sentence in cases where the drivers were impaired. Hope the police catch both of these piles of trash and make them suffer.

note to these drivers,, leaving the scene of a deadly accident is far more serious than a dwi !!! and no one got a tag # of the truck & box trailer that stopped & spoke to a witness ??? well at 2:20 am, its safe to assume everyone out at that time has had a few cocktails during the evening... bars close at 2:00, so everyones heading home...
