ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- With just 10 days left until one of the biggest concert events of the year, city officials held an open house to answer questions from concerned citizens about the Mumford and Sons concert.

Dozens of people from residents to business owners to people who were just curious, attended the three-hour event at the Casa Monica hotel.

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the Gentlemen of the Road Mumford and Sons two-day festival. Especially after the city announced it would cost roughly $417,000 of taxpayer money to put it together.

The city is confident much of that money will funnel back into the county thanks to the more than 20,000 people that are expected to attend.

Booths with informational pamphlets were set up to handle different questions during the open house. The St. Augustine police chief, the city comptroller and the city manager were among the officials on hand who were fielding most of the questions.

Many people were concerned about road closures and traffic patterns. Some business owners asked about how the shuttle program was going to benefit their businesses.

The city has set up a website with a frequently asked questions section.

The Mumford and Sons festival will be held on Francis Field from Sept 13-14.
