JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's office is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery of a Mandarin pharmacy.

It happened Wednesday night on San Jose Boulevard off of Mandarin Road.

Sheriff's deputies say an unknown man entered the store, went into the pharmacy area, and demanded a prescription narcotic from the pharmacy workers.

The man also threatened to pull out a gun if his demands were not met.

Pharmacy workers did not see a weapon. The suspect did receive the narcotic and then fled the store.

Sheriff's deputies say they believe this incident is connected to other robberies of supermarket's in the Mandarin area.

In each case the suspect has had the same physical description and has threatened to use a gun.

If anyone has any information about the suspect they are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous. A $1,000 reward is available to the person who calls in a tip leading to an arrest.
