JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Duval county school teacher is accused of six counts of sex crimes with a child. Christopher Bacca, 26, taught at Windy Hill Elementary and made his first court appearance Wednesday morning.

A young boy told police he showered with Bacca and engaged in oral sex with him during an overnight stay at the teacher's apartment in Avondale.

Duval County Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals has requested Suspension without Pay pending Bacca's possible termination at a school board meeting on August 7. If the Board elects to terminate Bacca, he will be able to appeal the decision.

Each of the three lewd and lascivious behavior charges against him carry a $250,000 bond, but no bond was set for any of the three sexual battery charges. In addition, he is not to have any unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18.

His next court appearance has been set for August 15.
