The NFL Public Money Hole. NFL is a big narrated stage show with the actors, choreography, staging, music, arenas, and show lights! There are tax loopholes and eminent domain is misused to grab people's houses to make room for arenas (if they were outdoors they would be stadiums), roads to and from arenas, and parking. NFL woo's politicians to be treated specially at these shows with millions spent on invitations(tickets), suite seating, expensive food, transportation/arena parking, parties, tours, and of course, lobbyists. They do that for Media people as well, so the NFL gets free advertising by having the media pretend the NFL is 'news' for their newscast where it's really a free infomercial. When you single out the NFL's lobbying and handing out freebies for quid pro quo returns, then you will start to 'get it' about NASCAR stepping up with a measly half a million dollars to play the game like the big business/fat cats of NFL.
