6:27 AM Update: Jacksonville, Fla. -- Riverside continues to see the St. Johns River spill over the river wall. This area is known for flooding and this morning it's living up to its reputation. Where we are currently parked, grassy lots have turned into temporary lakes.
3:39 AM Update: JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Things are eerily quiet for the time being here in Riverside. On the drive in, we noticed several down tree limbs and knocked over newspaper racks. But, as expected everyone seems to be staying indoors. Right now, I'm looking over at the river and you can see its still churning. The winds have picked up in the last 20 minutes and there's water in the air creating a misty sky. We'll keep you posted from here all morning long!
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Right now, there isn't much weather action going on in Riverside. But the breeze is picking up and things are going to get rocking once Beryl makes a midnight landfall.
