JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two people were sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a head-on collision Tuesday night on the Southside.

According to FHP, 19-year-old Natasha Truss was driving a 1999 Audi A4 eastbound on Baymeadows Road near Craven Road about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. Jennifer Critzon, 29, was driving a 2004 Honda Accord wetbound on Baymeadows near Craven. FHP said the two vehicles collided head on and then spun. In the spin, the rear of Critzon's vehicle struck a passing van.

Truss and Critzon, who were both wearing seat belts, were taken to Shands Jacksonville, according to the report.

FHP does not think speed or alcohol were a factor in the crash.  Truss is charged with failure to maintain a single lane.

Charged with failure to maintain a single lane…Again…Can we say distracted driving? Put away the toys when you are driving, and pay attention to the road!!!!!
