Two teens arrested in murder of Brunswick baby
BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Two teenagers have been arrested in the murder of a 13-month-old boy in Brunswick.
The Brunswick Police department identified one of the suspects is 17-year-old De'Marquise Elkins. The 14-year-old suspect has not been named due to his age.
The two face first-degree murder charges. Police arrested the two this morning. No weapons have been found.
Police say search warrants are being served at three locations in Brunswick right now, including a home on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Sherry West told police two boys shot her and her baby boy, Antonio, during a robbery yesterday morning.
Action News just spoke with Antonio's mother a short time ago about the arrests.
"I was very upset," said Sherry West. "It was like he was staring in front of me the other day. I'm relieved he won't be killing anymore people."
