JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two teens have been arrested for the murder of a man in a Walmart parking lot.
Police say Jameel Burroughs, 19, and De'Jon Frazier, 18, shot and killed 20-year-old Anthony Bannister on Tuesday night.
Investigators say the two suspects met up with Bannister and a fourth man, Frederick Phillips, for a drug deal.
Investigators say Burroughs got into a car with Bannister and Phillips, robbed the two men, got out and fired twice at Bannister.
Burroughs then got into a car with Frazier and took off.
Police say Phillips drove Bannister to a Kangaroo gas station around the corner on Southside Boulevard where they called 911.
Authorities say all four men attended Tulsa Welding School on Southside Boulevard.
Investigators say they had their suspects within 48 hours of the crime.
"Our investigators did an excellent job," said Lt. Rob Schoonover." The team followed up some leads by interviewing the witness. That led them to the suspect. This was solved in 48 hours so this was an excellent job."
Police have recovered what they believe to be the gun used in the shooting.
Burroughs and Frazier are charged with armed robbery and murder.
