Maybe if we could have caught him on film, and took it to the police by now he would be in jail for animal cruelty and this would have happened to him. And if someone on that street would of reported these dogs out all the time, this would not have happened. My prayer are with him.

wish: the owner of these dog are responsible. the dogs should not have been out of the yard. I don't know the owner of the dogs and I am not saying the dogs should of attack him, IN NO WAY!! I did not say the young man tease these dog. But for YEARS now I have seen him pick on animals in the neighborhood. HE is a grown man that should know better. I do believe; what goes around, comes around.(sooner or later)Just six months ago I told my husband that "one day he was going to mess with the wrong dog, and something bad is going to happen him, and I really don't want to see it when it happens." But I think because of what happen to him, now he is going to hate animals even more, and no animal in our neighborhood is safe. Hopefully everyone has their camera out, one of us will catch it on film. I have been trying to get it on film for awhile now. ANIMAL CRUELTY IS A CRIME!!!!!! What goes around, comes around.

dixie, I don't know any of the players in this drama, however....if this was a CHILD that supposedly 'teased' these dogs, would you still make such a ridiculous comment? The dogs were OUT. The story states that numerous people complained about the dogs prior to this. If you 'tease' a dog, it has the God-given right to react. ANY animal owner should assume that if their pet has teeth...it can bite. Bite. Not attack. A dog that attacks and continues to do so, has most likely been raised to have that reaction.

First I pray for his recovery. But I have seen this young man pick on and tease the dogs in this neighborhood. I have caught him trying to hit my dogs with a stick, when they are behind a fenced yard. I seen him pick up a puppy and through it to the ground. I seen him kick dogs. The owner is responsible to keep the dogs in the yard. BUT I SAY KARMA JUST BIT HIM IN THE ASS!!!! Maybe our animals will be a little safer now; if he learns his lesson.

First, as the person from Pit Sisters said- no matter what type of dog it is, the owner is responsible. With that said, please be responsible newscasters. Were they pitbulls, or were they American Staffordshires? There is a difference. Quit using tragedies such as this to wrongly place blame on a specific breed, when it was another breed that did the attacking.

That is a scary thing to have happen. I was attacked years ago while riding my bicycle. If I wasn't such an animal lover, it would have been nearly impossible to get over it. Prayers for this poor man.
