JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The hunt is on for a mass murderer.
Police are out scanning the streets and combing through the Murray Hill neighborhood for any clues.
"It's really scary and really sad," said neighbor Tracy Sweat.
She and her children live just a few feet from the crime scene. "I try to really tell them to make sure no matter what, always keep the house locked," said Sweat.
While police conduct their search, Action News went to local businesses looking to find some surveillance video, and we did. The camera wasn't facing the house on Randolph Street, but did capture police with flashing lights rushing to the scene overnight.
"I see my car on the news in front of his house and it says a four-murder massacre," said Jeanni Vincy.
Vincy and one of the victims, Derek Williams, had been dating for almost two years. She says if she didn't have to work Thursday night, she would have been inside Williams' home too.
"He dropped me off at work and he kissed me and told me he loved me, that's why I'm not regretting that," she said. She says her prayers go out to Keshell and Keyonna Brown's family.
Family members say the two sisters were like twins, even celebrated their birthday on the same day, just one year apart. Vincy says she doesn't know why anyone would want to hurt them but wants whoever is responsible to suffer.
"I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, but now I do," said Vincy.
