JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says all lanes of I-295 northbound are back open after a deadly crash.
FHP spokesman Dylan Bryan told Action News a Toyota 4Runner with three women inside made an improper lane change around 11:30 a.m.
The SUV collided with a commercial vehicle, causing the 4Runner to rollover and crash.
A 19-year-old woman was killed in the crash. Another 19-year-old and a 29-year-old woman went to the hospital with critical injuries.
Several other cars were hit by flying debris.
No one else was hurt.
Police diverted traffic to Old St. Augustine Road, which quickly filled up with cars. The interstate has since reopened.
