Woman dies in Clay County car crash
MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol says a woman has died in a car crash in Clay County on Wednesday.
Nicole Michelle Rawson was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer west on County Road 209 near Mariners Road, ended up in the grass and flipped twice about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rawson was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The 40-year-old was not wearing a seat belt. There were no passengers. FHP does not know yet if alcohol was a factor.
