The man was drunk driving and left the scene of an accident. Why didn't they charge him? Typical arbitrary law in North East Florida. This is why no one respects the law.

The story says the man was driving eastbound on SR 16, not eastbound on US1. Perhaps you should check your facts, "imtellin"

as usual action news prints articles without even checking its facts !!! as u.s. 1 runs north & southbound,, it would be physically impossible for this poor man to have been driving eastbound on U.S.1 !!! even the newest arrival to florida understands that I-95 & u.s. 1 run morth & south & the sun rises in the east & sets in the west !!! or is it different in jacksonville ??? check your facts action news !!!call yourself reporters do you ???? HAH !!! AMETUERS IS MORE LIKE IT !!!
