Dayton man stabbed for refusing to buy beer

DAYTON — A man said he was stabbed early Sunday after he refused to buy beer for a girl he knew.

The victim, a 27-year-old Dayton man, said he was walking in the area of Salem and Elsmere avenues shortly before 12:45 a.m. when a girl he knew only as "Kim" asked him to buy beer. When he refused, he said she cut him on the right side of his neck with a razor, according to a Dayton police report.

The man went to his girlfriend's home in the 1900 block of Elsmere Avenue for help. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment, according to the report.
