Florida Missing Child Alert canceled for Altamonte Springs teen

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — A missing Altamonte Springs teenager has been located, authorities said.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Florida Missing Child Alert for an Altamonte Springs teenager Mekinzi Corbin on Tuesday.

Corbin, 14, had been last seen in the 100 block of Ford Avenue in Altamonte Springs on Sunday and was reported missing on Monday.

Mekinzi was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt, black leggings and black and white shoes. She also had a fluorescent lime green backpack with black writing all over it.

FDLE said she is 5 feet tall and weighs 90 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office said, family members are concerned about her well-being, as she recently made threats to harm herself.
