Florida missing child alert canceled for central Florida baby

A 7-month-old girl who authorities said had vanished Wednesday from her home near Kissimmee was found safe Thursday, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office said.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Alena Ward had disappeared from the Images condominiums near West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and North Poinciana Boulevard.

Osceola County deputies said Alena was with her father and in good health.

No other details were given.
