Florida parents allegedly bring child, 5, to a bar before passing out

A Florida couple took their 5-year-old to a bar, but their night ended behind bars, police said.

David, 34, and Deana Pulis, 42, of Palm Harbor, went to a bar Saturday around midnight with their son. However, after several drinks, Deana passed out and David lost their son, WTSP reported. 

The bar manager told them to leave and called a Lyft. Before their ride arrived, Deana vomited, and David cut his head after getting in a fight with a manager and patron, WTSP reported.

The child was found within 10 minutes. The couple couldn’t provide a name of someone to take care of their son, so police called DCF, police said.

David and Deana were charged with child neglect.

There is no update about whether or not DCF still has custody of the child, WFLA reported.
