Florida woman avoids arrest, then jailed after boasting of attack

Antisha Brown

A West Palm Beach woman who initially avoided arrest following an alleged attack against a pregnant woman is in the Palm Beach County Jail after she bragged about the assault on social media, according to an arrest report.

Antisha Andrea Brown, 23, is facing charges of aggravated battery with a weapon and aggravated battery on a known pregnant woman and is being held without bond.

The 19-year-old alleged victim told police that she and another pregnant 19-year-old woman were in a car Dec. 24 when Brown began chasing them around Riviera Beach in her own vehicle.

At one point, Brown allegedly menaced the victims with a crowbar and pointed a Taser at them, the report said. Brown ended the chase by crashing into the victims’ vehicle, leaving it inoperable.

Riviera Beach police chose not to arrest Brown the day of the incident, the report said.

That changed when the victim told police that Brown went on social media “boasting” about destroying the victim’s vehicle while adding the crash would make the victim “walk for the holidays,” the report said.
