1 man shot on Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating an aggravated assault that took place in the 200 block of West 25th Street on the Northside on Thursday around 6:15 p.m.

Shots were fired into a home and a victim, who was riding a bike on Pearl Street, was struck in the back by a stray bullet, according to JSO. The man was transported to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries and as of Thursday night, his condition was unknown.

JSO says the suspects left the area in a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Toyota.
