19-year-old killed in alleged accidental shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 19-year-old is dead after he was shot in the face in what the suspect said was an accident.

Police found Marvin Smith, 19, with a gunshot wound in his head Sunday.

They were called to 1139 E. 15^th Street for reports of an accidental shooting.

Frank Cameron told police he accidentally shot Smith.

The firearm was recovered at the scene.
